WHITEHORSE City Council has a dedicated Economic Development Department focused on supporting business and economic development. The department:

·  Provide networking opportunities to increase awareness of industry.
·  Provide keynote speakers to report on the latest national and international business trends affecting industry.
·  Identify available sites to suit individual future business needs.
·  Listen to issues affecting the business sector.
·  Act as a single point of contact within the Council.
·  Provide information and assistance on State and Federal Government funding opportunities.
·  Facilitate key projects that require Council approval across the City.
