Whitehorse City Council’s Business Engagement Officer is out and about visiting businesses to ensure the current COVIDSafe guidelines are understood and COVIDSafe Plans are up to date and reflect the current settings.
In partnership with the Victorian Government Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR), this program offers assistance in the following key areas:
- COVIDSafe Plans.
- Assistance to understand the current rules and regulations.
- Signs, posters and templates for display, including multilingual signage.
- Providing information on support services that are available.
Since the beginning of November 2021, visits have been conducted in and around central Box Hill, Mitcham, Blackburn, Burwood, Wattle Park, Nunawading, Kerrimuir, Blackburn North, Blackburn South, Box Hill North, Box Hill South, Forest Hill, Mont Albert, Surrey Hills, and the MegaMile. Upcoming scheduled locations include the Whitehorse Industrial Precincts.
With ongoing changes to regulations, it can be difficult to keep up to date with requirements, Council’s Business Engagements Officer can assist you to understand what is required. The COVID-19 Resources for Businesses page on this website, has also been developed to assist local businesses in understanding regulations and accessing assistance.
COVIDSafe measures are important in ensuring the community is kept safe and businesses can remain open.
