Consumer Affairs Victoria

Consumer Affairs Victoria is a business unit of the Department of Justice and Community Safety, within the Victorian government and is Victoria’s consumer affairs regulator. Their purpose is to help Victorians be responsible and informed businesses and consumers.

Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions

The Department of Jobs, Precincts and Region is a Victorian government department that aims to ensure Victoria's strong economic performance by growing industries and regions.

Sustainability Victoria

Sustainability Victoria's statutory objective is to facilitate and promote environmental sustainability in the use of resources.

Victorian Small Business Commission

The Victorian Small Business Commission (VSBC) aims to create a fair and competitive environment for Victorian small business to operate, grow and prosper through its four functions – advocacy, dispute resolution, monitoring and engagement. The new help portal is where individuals can apply for assistance to resolve a dispute.
Information and fact sheets about resolving business disputes are now available in languages other than English.
The VBSC have a new phone number for their enquiry line (1800 878 964) for guidance on dispute resolution services and ways the VSCB can help or email enquiries@vsbc.vic.gov.au.

Victorian Workcover Authority

Financial Counselling Victoria

Financial Counselling Victoria (FCVic) is the peak body for financial counsellors in Victoria. FCVic provides resources and support to financial counsellors and their agencies who assist vulnerable Victorians experiencing financial difficulty. FCVIC work with government, banks, utilities, debt collection and other stakeholders to improve approaches to financial difficulty for vulnerable consumers.
